This two-day conference, first of its kind in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Region, will explore the problems posed and opportunities made possible by technological advances and innovations in the field of law.
Recent advances in technologies are creating new paths for innovation never imagined before. The relationship between technology and innovation is not unique to any one discipline or system invented by the human mind. Law is no exception. Few would doubt that advances in modern technologies are exerting sustained pressure on those engaged in the legal field to rethink some of the long-held assumptions and practices. We are witnessing the emergence of new paradigms in legal thought and practice made possible by the insights of modern technology.
The conference will bring together Legal Tech experts from all over the globe to discuss and share ideas, experiences, solutions and tactics to prepare a signal fire for the Middle East Legal Tech.
The aims of the conference are to:
- Provide an overview of the latest advances in legal technology that have impacted the way we think about and practice the law.
- Identify concrete opportunities in the field of modern legal technologies that will contribute towards the advancement of legal systems in the MENA Region;
- Explore the ways to ensure that legal women in the MENA region are fully engaged in advancing legal innovation through technological advances.
- Establish a framework that will provide the basis for developing a follow-up system to the lessons learned at the end of the conference.
